ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Ari Wilen and I am a recent graduate who studied strategic communication with a concentration in public relations at Temple University. I also pursued a business minor and event planning certificate. I graduated in May 2019.
I am extremely passionate about the wonderful world of events! I began to feel passionate about event planning when I was 15 years old after I was elected president of my local United Synagogue Youth chapter, where my primary role was to plan and execute events. My passion grew to a love when I was elected Spirit Leader of my high school, where I was responsible for planning pep-rallies and in charge of the fan section while also being captain of the Football team.
I have held a year-long internship at the Philadelphia Inquirer, working in the special event department and a spring internship at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, specifically working as operations and logistics intern for the 2019 Philadelphia Flower Show.
Most recently, I worked as the Sales and Catering Coordinator for the Logan Hotel, Philadelphia's Hotel, along the Parkway in Philadelphia. This was my first full-time employment as a college graduate and until Covid-19, my most recent work experience.

Fun facts:
I have two cats named Phil and Lil. I grew up in Lower Merion, Pennsylvania. After high school, I took a gap year in Israel with Habonim Dror Workshop 64. On my gap year, I had the opportunity to play professional American Football for the Tel-Aviv Pioneers, where I received MVP recognition, ultimately leading my team to the Israeli Super Bowl.
